Optional toe kick panels cover the adjustable legs. They install easily with removable clips. Available in 4 and 8 foot lengths, 5 inches high, they can be easily cut and installed to fit your cabinetry.
WerEver’s outdoor kitchens are installed using leveling legs. These legs eliminate the need to shim a cabinet. Shim material is usually made from wood, which certainly has no place in a wood-free outdoor kitchen.
Toe kick panels are an available option that requires minimal carpentry skills to trim and attach pieces. Toe kick panels are made “too tall” intentionally. Depending on the slope of your outdoor kitchen area, you may need to take advantage of the maximum height of the leveling legs, thus requiring the maximum available height of the toe kick. For extremely sloped outdoor kitchens, or if you prefer to use the toe kick as a baseboard style cover, panels can be ordered in heights greater than 5 inches. Please ask your representative or designer to help you if you need a taller toe kick panel.
Outdoor Kitchen Design Tip: If you are unsure about adding toe kick, you can always complete your project and then decide if you prefer to cover the leveling legs.
Toe kick panels do not require advanced carpentry skills. Using any ordinary electric hand saw, or a table saw if available, you can easily trim the pieces in size. If your cut happens to be a little less than precise, because toe kick panels go under a recessed portion of the cabinet, it is unlikely that anybody will see the difference between a toe kick panel cut perfectly, and one with a slightly less-than-perfect cut. If you need guidance or a recommendation for installing trim pieces or toe kick, please contact us and we will be glad to help with your outdoor kitchen project.
